From tribute bands to bluegrass music to country, Mobile offers it all. Situated not far from famous music hubs including New Orleans and Memphis, Mobile has become a melting pot for all types of musical genres and styles over the decades. Each musician that has passed through or simply been aired on local radio has left their mark and introduced the area to something new. Mobile's unique music culture has developed over the years, and local musicians are the best example of that.

My goal is to showcase some of these musicians and get their perspective on what local music culture is to them. Whether you enjoy listening to live local music, or not, I hope you can learn just a little more about the Mobile area music scene, and hopefully develop an interest in it!
